Stayed in room 210. Very, very noisy. We asked to be moved and were accommodated. Moved across the hall to 209, much better. Shower curtain liner was torn, looked horrible. Window curtain in 2nd floor hallway partially rotted away. Carpet in hallway badly furled creating possible trip hazard.
Very Homey feeling. Lobby was very welcoming and spacious. Rooms were very clean.
It didn't have a restruant connected with it. They gave us a very goodd recommendation on where to eat and it was very good and not expensive.
The staff was so nice and helpful, and the facilities were fantastic, also owned and managed by Americans.
Great rate, only 16 miles from Mackinaw City, quiet, has a hot tub & pool. There was a limited breakfast of coffee & juices, cold cereals, muffins, bagels & bread all at no extra charge. The room was nice, beds were comfortable & pillows labeled as being either soft or firm. No complaints. Great for families, but no elevators to the 2nd floor.
Water had an odd smell--something similar to sulfur, pool was not heated, dining choices were limited to one restaurant 4 miles away & not all that good., But then, if you want to drive further to Mackinaw City, you have much more selection.
I liked the distance from the Mackinaw Bridge.....The value was great and overall I had a good experience
Hotel was close to the Mackinac Bridge.
Hot Tub was broke the whole weekend. We had ants in our room. Not much of a selection for breakfast.
The room was clean and comfortable beds.
The web site says it is only 11.6 miles from petoskey when it is actually 22+miles. It was going through a remodel and we were not told this when booking the room. The staff was rude at checkin.
